Human Rights — Empowering Children
GPEN’s third annual virtual conference brought together 20+ speakers, dozens of partner groups and more than six hours of content focused on giving children a voice and a choice.
Third annual conference
What does it really take to live in peace?
The event asked what people can learn that will help them live peacefully—with themselves, with each other and with the planet. Educators, executives, diplomats, dignitaries, scholars, scientists, artists and athletes shared practical skills of peace.
The 2023 theme honored the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The program examined how peace education can empower children and help give them both a voice and a choice.
